We had an amazing behind-the-scenes tour of Carter Finely Stadium and the Murphy Center! During our tour, we checked out the weight room, equipment room, and nutrition stations, walked the tunnel, and even stepped onto the field. Along the way, we met interns and staff with 20+ years of experience. We got insight into how the football team is managed, saw game day operations up close, discussed field management, and discovered how the stadium functions as a multi-use facility. So cool getting a behind-the-scenes look at where so many big game days and unforgettable moments happen. 🏈 🐺❤️🖤

So grateful for everyone who made our Professional Development Event such a success! 🙌 Thank you to all the industry professionals who came out to lead stations, share your career journeys, discuss internship opportunities, and give advice on building meaningful connections after graduation. This past Friday, we had the amazing opportunity to bring together both the Tourism Management Association and the Sport Management Club for a joint site visit to the Raleigh Convention Center and the VisitRaleigh spaces. Our members got to learn firsthand how events shape and impact the city of Raleigh. We also had the chance to hear from some amazing professionals across different roles and also be able to learn about the part each of them plays in making events come to life.
