Whenever I’m shooting long exposures, I try and keep my ISO at 64 to negate any noise, however with the lights in the scene, I shut my aperture right down to f14 to get the starburst effect on them, and then used ISO 200 just to bump up the exposure, came out nicely!

I don’t really have anything in the library that’s particularly festive, so I dug our one of my all time favourites from a @tlephotos event at the start of the year, at @didcotrailwaycentre as large prairie 4144 is disposed of after a day working around the railway centre. This remains my only published image, mainly because I can’t be bothered to email magazines week in, week out in the hope something will get picked up! Cheers ‘en 🤙🏼
A few more photos from a @tlephotos / @LondonCameraExchange event that I attended recently at the @DidcotRailwayCentre . In addition to the opportunity to #shoot the steam trains and several re-enactors, there were a couple of #models including the rather spectacular #fire performer called @hibyan.sky
As a ‘warm up’ (pun intended) for her fire performance first she gave us an opportunity to #photograph some #Burlesque type shots with fans. With the bright #red dress, against the industrial backdrop it made for some eye-catching images.
