In March, the Tenderloin community came together to honor the life and legacy of Stephen Tennis — tenant advocate, protector of children, keeper of Boeddeker Park, food justice leader, and beloved community member. The 200 block of Eddy Street has officially been renamed Stephen Tennis Way, ensuring that all who pass through will carry his memory with them every single day.
