I have had a lot of questions about the eyelashes I have been using for Faye and Kitty’s looks this season. If you search “anime style lashes” you will find soooo many options.I love this style because it gives the length, but it doesn’t hide the eyelid. This keeps it light and airy with a great view of the color and glitter! @perfect_angelgirl and @anna.vanpatten had innocent vibes with their characters, and the shape of these lashes helps to enhance that energy.These lashes keep the length in the center, which helps play into the innocent looks by making the eyes appear rounder and larger, like its anime namesake!You can also play with the heaviness! Faye had the lightest weight which blended in perfectly with her natural lashes. Something about light pink shimmery eyeshadow is so innocent and youthful. I think it contrasted perfectly with the horrifying context of this scene. Tutorial coming

Meet KITTY! beautiful and heartbreakingly portrayed by @anna.vanpatten whose glam was masterfully done by @tlangmakeup my assistant makeup department head and overall glam + SFX wizard. There’s so much I love about this bathroom scene… the way Rue helps clean up Kitty’s smudged mascara, the way Kitty re-applies her lipliner and lip gloss (of course its @halfmagicbeauty) and run to last slide to see the insane way her long spindly lashes cast an ominous spiky shadow on her face. I LIVE FOR IT!!! Because it makes me feel. It’s scenes like these that keep me inspired to continue working in film + TV.
