Holding it down from beginning to end upstairs: Tadhg K A queer and non-binary DJ, vinyl and live electronic artist based in Dublin, experimenting with sounds from both the acoustic and electronic realms. Their DJ sound feeds off 90s and 00s eurodance, deep house and trance anthems, always loving a cheeky little edit along the way. Tadhg embraces a performative, playful and immersive relationship with the crowd every time they play. Tadhg’s live sets explore the fusion of percussion with live electronics, using hardware such as eurorack, samplers and analog synths to create atmospheric and performative live shows. They are also the Founder and Director of Dublin Modular, a queer DIY collective merging club culture with alternative spaces and disciplines in Ireland. He is a producer, DJ and party starter who has been deeply involved in DIY cultural communities for the past decade. He played in every weird corner of the island of Ireland, extensively on the festival circuit, and in London and Berlin, including a show at Joyride in 2024. First up is a b2b mix from Dublin mainstays @bullhorris and @tk_lemonade_ Bonded through a love of vinyl, Bull Horris & Tadhg K are two artists and close friends who have come together through their respective parties across Dublin over the past few years. Tadhg is the founder of @dublinmodular , a queer, artist-run organisation who host events in galleries, yards and theatres, merging club culture with alternative spaces & disciplines in Ireland. Bull Horris is co-founder and resident of @tendertendxr , a queer, nomadic (by necessity), DIY party who create intentional space and dancefloors for the community. Combined, their sets have always embraced a performative, playful and immersive relationship with the crowd. ~ AC 2025 Artist Detail ~ Tadhg Kinsella is a queer sound artist and composer from Dublin, blending sound art, music, and technology. A graduate of the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Trinity College, Tadhg specializes in electronic and modular synthesis. Supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, they were named a 2024/25 emerging composer by the Contemporary Music Centre. Tadhg’s work has been shown at venues like IMMA and Culterim Galerie. In 2024, they presented "Continue Reading," a solo sound exhibition exploring disability and queer identity. Tadhg is also the founder of Dublin Modular, promoting inclusivity in the arts.
