We managed to shoot a BTS fashion video on our last film project. Shot this using the Canon CN 18-55mm T4 cinema lens paired with the Canon R5 , did the editing on Davinci Resolve which I’m still learning. #n8zine #justgoshoot #cinematography #personalproject #fashion
The shoot that almost never existed!
I had planned to already be in Jamaica by this time in late November, but because of the hurricane and flight cancellations, I somehow ended up in Kenya instead, networking and discovering local creatives 🇰🇪 That’s how I found @tintsehh and of course we had to plan a shoot on film.
On the shoot day, what should’ve been a 20 minute drive turned into more than two hours in traffic. By the time we arrived, we had to pull a few strings to even get a short window to shoot…
Being able to travel with my entire analogue workflow, and to share that process with people who haven’t tried it before, is something I don’t take lightly. I’m just grateful I said yes to the detour 🫂

Shot film using strobes for the first time and it was one of the most mind blowing experience in my photography journey, the best part was even the development of the film rolls which we did for about 8hrs straight, seeing the results was a surreal feeling as it was the first time I had done this, the team was just perfect with @eye__views teaching us the delicate technique of shooting and developing.
Shot this on the Mamiya RZ67 which is a medium format film camera and triggered the off camera strobe Godox 400 pro .

This is a passion project with amazing creatives titled 'DREAMBOND' : A black and white mini film unfolds as a perfect heist dreamed by a man. From a surreal vision of a mansion to ritual preparation, a flawless burglary of a vintage TV and a clumsy escape. It all collapses when he jolts awake, revealing the entire sequence was his dream.
