Jonah and myself have been friends since our teenage years although our communication became really epileptic when he relocated abroad for studies, even though we checked up on each other at intervals and for every-time we spoke he was either in a relationship and vice versa.
Fast forward to 2023, I seldom visit snapchat and interestingly that is his most active social media platform, but on this day I decided to and after viewing his story I realised he just landed in Abuja. I casually texted “so you are in my city and you did not say a word” in his defense he was passing by to Calabar and wasn’t sure if he would have the time.
All bullshit! nigga was avoiding me cos he still had feelings for me😜( shockingly he was in Nigeria to engage his then girlfriend, gist for another day sha🤭).
Eventually we scheduled a meeting for that evening, he picked me up from my house, we had an amazing dinner at The Pasha, we did a lot of catching up, teased each other as we always did( especially him), for me I was just having an amazing time with an old friend but oga was busy admiring a fine geh🤭 He dropped me off at my house and went home and the rest they say is history.
Indeed He makes everything beautiful in His time
