My brother’s officially a Master of Music. Extra proud of him today for all he’s accomplished and glad the family was able to get together to celebrate him today.

Enjoyed spending the last few days in Pittsburgh to visit my brother and catch his final performance with his MFA program’s Philharmonic. (I’m sure he appreciated my asking such riveting questions as “why are there so many violins?”). Also grateful to visit the Pirates at PNC Park and cross stadium 17/30 off the list. The surprise bonus of the trip, however, was a trip to the National Aviary, where I saw so many gorgeous birds!

A couple weeks ago, I returned to the @onelinermadness stage as a last-minute replacement (for the second time!), joining 63 other LA comics to raise money for @outtathecage rescue. Always grateful to be part of @emilymcwinter ‘s kickass event when it comes through LA and get a few healthy laughs at a stupid thought I had over a decade ago.
Shout out to @andreaentz for besting me in our matchup, and to all the friends and comics I got to share the stage with that night!

Earlier this year, my mom @hackettmorgans purchased the @the_jersey_lilly in Ingomar, MT, a town of 15 off Route 12 in eastern Montana. With the help of a few folks, she’s revived it back into proper working order, and created a place for the community, workers in the area, and passers-by to stop in for a bite to eat, a drink, and a chance to take a seat and relax. I was lucky enough to visit earlier this month and see what my mom’s been up to since she took over.
