An editorial welcome at Glass House by Tirtha, where we greeted our Japanese delegation with the soulful luxury of Balinese hospitality and a traditional Jamu elixir under the jungle canopy.
As the afternoon sun filtered through the trees, the mood began to shift. Amidst the clinking of crystal and the scent of damp earth and incense, the first speeches were shared. What began as a business delegation quickly dissolved into something much more significant: a community. Under the glass-and-timber architecture of the forest, the transition from “colleagues” to “guests of the island” was seamless.

There is a magnetic, communal energy in dining beneath a canopy of silk. As the sun dipped below the Indian Ocean, Tirtha Uluwatu shifted from an architectural marvel into a warm, candlelit sanctuary.
This incentive tour from Japan transcended the typical meeting, opting instead for an unfiltered look at sensory immersion in Uluwatu.
The tablescapes featured a bold, intentional pulse of deep crimson roses against the white on white drapery play. Set against minimalist stone-grey accents and ghost chairs, the rich blooms acted as the visual heartbeat of a perfectly curated night.
