**EDIT: ZINE IS NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH LINK IN BIO**
Using info from a post by @mirna_elhelbawi and @connectinghumanity_ , I designed, printed, cut, and bound this little batch of guides to donating eSIMs to folks on the ground in Palestine facing genocide. Connection to each other and the world at large is crucial for many reasons, not the least of which is combatting the propaganda, lies, disinformation spread by world "leaders" and complicit mass media outlets that strive to keep us docile as the relentless grind of capitalism, consumerism, and commercialism rots our brains and bodies. We have a duty to resist. I hope to continue contributing to this cause in a meaningful way, and I'm open to conversations with folks about what that can look like as a collaborative effort. Stay dangerous 🍉🇵🇸

Thank you to @andyjadja for translating and @irsebailando for proofreading! The zine I made is now available in both English and Spanish through the link in my bio. If you're reading this and are willing and able to translate to any other language(s), please DM me to collaborate. Let's continue to help keep Gaza connected through the brilliant work of @mirna_elhelbawi and @connectinghumanity_ ! Follow both accounts, as well as @bintmeetsworld and @shentel , to see updates regarding which type of eSIMs are needed at any given time #connectinggaza
Taking a moment away from my caffeine-fueled creating to appreciate some bracelets I've made lately, as well as how much I've learned in the past 6-ish months of making chainmail jewelry.
When I say I'm an artist, people often ask what exactly I do...and my answer, after listing whatever mediums I'm engaged in at that moment, ends with "whatever else I have the audacity to try." I consider my willingness to try to be one of my greatest strengths, even if it doesn't always turn out the way I expect or hope. Here's to another 6-ish months of making chainmail, and whatever else I have the audacity to try.

Another day, another bracelet 🐶 this and more may be coming to an unspecified market near to or far from you at some point in the near or distant future 💙

Trying my hand at chain maille jewelry and loving the process! It took some time for my brain to make sense of the Byzantine weave, but once it did, the flow was FLOWING. My first project was a body chain for my darling @pebbble77 , but I needed to shorten a portion of it and the length I removed was perfect for a matching bracelet! I used anodized aluminum jump rings, which are durable and lightweight (at a much lower price point than steel, ideal for dabbling in the craft on a budget). Huge thanks to @dockandnettle for giving me some v helpful pointers on getting started 🙏
I made a few mini-collages on playing cards, and an overarching theme of healing and groundedness has emerged (not surprising when all of the collage elements came from massage therapy journals). The lifelong journey of returning to myself continues ever forward.
🚨 NEW PRINT ALERT!!! 🚨 Swipe through to see my latest print, from concept to execution 😌 it all started about 24 hours ago when I HAD to figure out how to take a picture of my own two hands posed from my own POV. In the reference photo, I'm applying pressure with my left thumb to the solar plexus point (in reflexology) on my right palm to ground myself. I made the tarot association while reflecting on the care I'm showing myself while living as a trans person in the U.S., AND as a massage therapist providing care and co-creating a healing space with other human beings living in a fucked up world. This work is so rewarding, and I hope to do it for a very long time. Anyway, thanks for looking at my art ❤️✨
Here, you can see Chu aka Bubby aka Old Baby fulfilling the crucial job of quality control as I make him his own scratcher from...wait for it...scratch. I'm pleased to report we're on right on target for trial runs 🤓
Proud of my first attempt at screen printing! I created the stencil one word at a time with overlapping strips of painter's tape, a utility knife, and a hand drawn sharpie design. I've been wanting to make a larger version of my ~5"x6" hand-painted patch for awhile 😌 this one is roughly 8"x10", DM for purchase or trade inquiries!
