2025 is winding down and I’ve got thoughts as to where the wedding industry is headed in 2026.
✨ Continuing with color drenching. We are NOT ready to go back to greige (thank god). In interiors and event design, I’m feeling color more than ever. Paint it all! I’m seeing custom tables (like these pictured) and even bolder!
✨ Personal Touches like hand written notes inside menus and custom stitched napkins!
✨ Fashion Forward EVERYTHING: From the bride’s carefully curated look(s) to the groom’s custom suit to the wedding party attire and even guests.
✨ The revival of preppy.
✨ A break from tradition. I know we’ve been seeing this trending for a while, but I expect it to continue. Couples want their weddings to feel like a true reflection of THEM and couples these days aren’t as worried about keeping up with tradition.
✨ Guest Experience Focused: We’re going to continue to see the focus shift to vibe and experiences (think interactive and immersive). This is going to make for some really memorable moments.
