Ten years ago this past November, a collective “what if?” morphed into our first art exhibition—a month-plus-long takeover of an incredible space where we asked artists, “What if? And can we shoot it?” Totally self-funded. Totally off the grid. Totally unconventional.
We all had various ideas of what #TRFE could be, but our core mission was to create a platform for unknown, emerging, and infamous creatives while strengthening the creative community.
In the past decade, we’ve hosted five exhibition/festivals featuring hundreds of creatives, welcoming upwards of 70,000 attendees, and partnering with Expressway Productions, Live Nation, Red Bull, TITO’S, PhillyPR Girl, SONY, FOX29, Champion, IBX, and the DRWC to create some of the largest public-facing art shows Philadelphia has ever seen.
The most important and unquantifiable metric, however, has been the countless creatives who were introduced to one another, shared conversations, collaborated, formed bonds, and worked late nights and early mornings to bring these experiences to life.
Now, as we prepare for our final event, we invite you to join us this Friday night to celebrate 10 years of bold ideas, unforgettable memories and ALIVENESS.
