I’m not overly sentimental, but today Roadie hit 1 million streams. This song has always been a reminder that making music isn’t a race and songs have their own life cycle. Demo’d in 2014, recorded 2018 and released in 2019- where it was often performed in half empty rooms. Roadie has steadily won the hearts of many. It’s always surreal to play now and see people sing along… even though I rarely sing the proper lyrics.
I’ve dug through some hard drives to find footage and audio from the early years to commemorate. 🫶🏻💕✨
