30 & the Year of the Snake brought me grief, but it also brought me strength. It showed me that standing up for myself will weed out the environments & relationships that thrive in negativity.
This last year I was (officially) diagnosed with ADHD and am in the process of my Anxiety diagnosis. Every DJ set, every song I want to release, even hanging out with my FRIENDS- my brain is like “actually this is the scariest thing you could possibly do, so maybe let’s not”.. 🥲 but it feels incredible to be on a path to healing this part of me.
As I move through 31, I’m looking forward to getting back to creative endeavours. To making delicious food and hanging with my favourite people. To continue making music and playing music because it brings me joy and not because I have anything to prove.
