🫵We need YOU! TinyFest returns this June, taking over the Christchurch Bus Interchange from 19–21 June. We’re looking for volunteers to join the Tiny Crew across Friday night through to Sunday evening. You can be: ⚡ushering audiences ⚡supporting artists in real time ⚡collecting koha on the bus ⚡ helping keep the festival flowing ⚡creating creative responses to performances This year’s theme, INTERxCHANGE explores movement, transition, and connection through site-responsive performance. You’ll find activations, talks, music, installations, and live encounters across the Bus Interchange and central city spaces. This is a chance to be part of a weekend filled with experimental art, creative energy, and meaningful encounters...if that sounds like your kind of weekend, jump aboard. ⚡Fill out the form in our bio before the 25th of May or email your interest to [email protected] and we’ll get back to you.

Find all info through the link in our bio. Send us your pitch—we’d love to see what you’re cooking up. ⚡INTERxCHANGE - Call for Artists We’re arriving at the Bus Interchange: 19-21st of June A place of transit. Of crossing paths. Of brief encounters and constant movement. We’re looking for performance work that can live within this environment: responsive, adaptive, and aware of the audience passing through. Due to the nature of the space and resources, works should be minimal in setup and able to respond to the live environment. We can’t wait to receive your pitches! ⏳ Applications close 10 May → All info and Application form via link in bio If you’re unable to submit through the form, email your proposal or any questions you might have to 📩[email protected]

What's up with Tiny Fest? ...looking a little different 👀 Following our 2025/26 kaupapa, INTERxCHANGE, we’ve been on the move: connecting, collaborating, and exchanging across and beyond Te Waipounamu. After our Tiny Grem Fest fundraising fest, co-hosted with @gremlins.otautahi , we kicked off 2026 with our first cross-city, cross-festival iteration alongside @performanceartweekaotearoa (and we’re still reliving those moments through our archive as it continues to unfold!). And before we could even catch our breath, we began a beautiful collaboration with @mana.tipua , who is currently enchanting the realms of words and sound through their Tiny Tipua EP ✨ Oof. Exciting times. And now—it’s YOUR moment to jump on the bus with us 🚌 We’re brewing a fresh programme and will be sharing more info (and a call-out!) very soon. Heads up: this year’s artist call-out (and turnaround) will be quick. Keep your eyes peeled… You won’t want to miss this bus 😉
