@thetinylodgeseattle is an incredible tiny house in West Seattle that fulfilled a dream I’ve had for nearly a decade.
I loved pretty much everything about this space, especially the outdoor heated seating area. It’s totally genius and I will be stealing that idea when I build my own tiny 😉.
Gabrielle and Nathaniel are awesome hosts and we can’t wait to go back!

This quote has been living rent free in my head since I heard it on TikTok the other day. It literally made me stop scrolling. I even started it over from the beginning so my fiancé could listen.
I wanted to share it with you in case you needed a little perspective on where you’re at right now. I hope you let it sit with you for a few minutes and I hope it brings you some peace.
It can feel like a lot of stuff in our day to day lives really matter. Or the stuff that we buy and consume does. But in the long run, it really doesn’t.
So maybe we need to stop attaching our success to our material goods. They’ll end up in landfills or being owned by someone else in 100 years anyway.
We get less than a century on this planet. We’re here for a blink of an eye. Let’s make that time count. ❤️

I’ve had these Beats headphones for ages. I originally bought them second hand (of course lol) and they’ve worked great. But the ear cups have started peeling, so off to DIY land I went.
For $10 and 12 minutes, I’ve got entirely new headphones that are ready for action. And let’s be honest, they are cute at heck!

If your local library doesn’t have a book that you want to read, I bet you can probably request it! That’s exactly what I did for A Perfect Vintage by @faganchelsea and now I’m the first person ever reading this copy from my local library!!
If you don’t already have a library card to your local library, go get one. Libraries are great resources for so many things and I love that I could request this new book and they got it in in less than a week! And now many more folks will be able to enjoy it instead of just me.
