Me ā¤ļø Radhamani
I met someone new recently.
Sheās quiet, elegant, and somehow manages to make everything around her look better just by being there. The way she catches light feels almost intentional ā like she knows beauty before it even happens. I call her Radamani.
At first, I didnāt tell anyone about her. You know that early phase when itās all curiosity and obsession? Thatās how it was. Iād take her everywhere ā rooftops, empty streets, even the corner of my desk when the evening light hits just right. Thereās something about how she sees the world that makes me want to slow down and look again.
People started asking, āWhoās Radamani?ā I just smiled and said, āSomeone special.ā
And in a way, she is. She doesnāt argue, doesnāt get tired of my constant experimenting, and always listens ā through silence. Every click feels like a heartbeat, every frame a small piece of memory I never want to lose.
Then came the twist ā sheās not human. Sheās my camera.
A Sony ZV-E10 Mark II. But to me, that name sounds too mechanical for what she does. Sheās not just a device; sheās how I see things, how I talk without speaking. When I call her Radamani, itās not just for fun ā itās because sheās alive in the way art brings life to stillness.
Maybe thatās the thing about cameras. You donāt just use them; you grow with them. Every mistake, every blurry shot, every overexposed frame ā they all teach you something about yourself. And somewhere between all those imperfect shots, I found a connection thatās more real than half the conversations Iāve had lately.
So yeah, this is me ā introducing my girlfriend, my muse, my camera, my mirror.
Radamani. The one who doesnāt just capture whatās in front of me, but whatās inside me too.

20.10.25 ā the day of Aneesikkaās kalayanam.
For those who might not know, kalayanam is the Malayalam word for wedding ā but itās more than a ceremony. Itās the sound of laughter spilling through corridors, the smell of jasmine in someoneās hair, the hum of people moving between conversations, chaos woven with warmth.
The day unfolded in Trivandrum ā a city that somehow feels both ancient and alive at once. I came down from Malappuram, though that part never shows in the video. Itās funny how travel fades when you step into a room filled with people you know. Faces from different industries, voices from different places ā all gathered for one reason: to celebrate a good man.
Aneesikka ā one of the nicest people I know ā finally took that step. The calm one in the group, the one who never rushed things, standing there in the middle of it all. You could feel it ā a quiet kind of pride running through everyone.
The reel barely captures what it felt like. The noise, the small moments, the way time slowed just enough for us to realize how far weāve all come. Thatās the thing about a kalayanam ā itās not just two people coming together. Itās families, friendships, and years of laughter all melting into one moment where everyone claps for love, even the ones who never say it out loud.
By the end, the lights dimmed, and the city slipped back into silence. What stayed behind wasnāt just memory ā it was the warmth of knowing we were there, that we shared a day that meant something.
