Sharing tea in the Oxford’s tiniest teahouse! With space for just two people - @tiny.teahouse in Oxford is the smallest tea house in the UK. It is the perfect tiny space for tea lovers to connect with tea and with friends. A maximum of two guests can share a private tea tasting, tea ceremony or tea meditation session - tailored to their taste in tea. @tiny.teahouse also offers tea workshops for groups and team activities in private homes, offices, corporate retreats and yoga studios - like this one! Thank you to @emmataylorfilms for creating this reel that gives a sneek peak inside the world of @tiny.teahouse . #teaceremony #teatasting #teameditation #teaworkshop #teambuilding #datenight #tealoversofinstagram #oxford

TEA Tasting - five teas that shaped the world - by @tiny.teahouse during KISSAKO show WED 20 MAY 5:30-6:30PM, still few tickets available. ā¬‡ļø /store/p/five-teas-that-shaped-the-world-talk To celebrate the upcoming KISSAKO exhibition - at Gallery 1+5 in Oxford, tinyteahouse presents: ā€œFive Teas That Shaped The Worldā€ Over five millennia, the humble tea leaf has done more than fill cups—it has toppled empires, sparked revolutions, and defined entire cultures. While tea’s history is vast, a select few teas have done more than others to shape the course of human history. Join us for a led tea tasting as we trace the impact of five legendary - and delicious - teas. Discover how Lapsang Souchong—born of a "happy accident"—became the world’s first black tea and the catalyst for global trade. Explore how Bohea from the Wuyi mountains led to British espionage and sparked revolution in America. And how the world’s most expensive tea - Pu-erh - was once traded for Tibetan horses that led the charge for Chinese military campaigns. This tea tasting offers a rare opportunity to taste these five teas as living histories, exploring the traditional craft, specialised teaware, and brewing methods that bring their stories to life.

Serious face on. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a healthy mix of earnest and silly. Whether I’m hosting a tea gathering or facilitating a tea workshop the one thing that helps me connect with people is being myself. Bad dad jokes and all. So here I am preparing to host The Classic Teas of Japan at @irving.gallery on Tuesday night amongst the stunning works of @terezahoracek1 and @charlotte.brisland Setting up to serve tea starts long before guests arrive. Selecting teas, tea ware and table ware that will help people connect to the experiences with all their senses. This serious expression - my family all furrow a brow concentrating - this is me thinking with my hands. How to position everything in a small space for ease and flow. Tea ceremony muscle memory perhaps… Thanks to @vanessa_c_lacey for hosting me and to many tea friends who arrived shortly after these photos were taken to connect with tea, with themselves and with others. Next in the series could be The Classic Teas of Taiwan… šŸ‡¹šŸ‡¼ šŸµ Would you come? #teahouse #teaceremony #oxford
