It took much longer to work on this one! Painting on a large wall feels completely different from painting on paper at a table. Honestly, it felt like I was boxing with this painting o:) ⚡️🥊

I couldn’t take my eyes off watching how people looked at, touched (mostly kids, and surprisedly instead of worrying, I actually felt so fulfilled), or just hung around the mural. It’s been so rewarding to turn all these interactions and feedback into a next project...

Magnifique. Chagall didn’t paint the local landscape that much compared to the other artists like Cocteau, Bonnard, or Picasso who lived in south of France. He placed himself somewhere else.
For my 90’s kids, “Gamer StArt”, my latest mural, created for Xbox Rare Studio Ltd., @rareltd celebrating Rare’s 40th anniversary! This is the first in a series of posts, more to come after 🎮🏴☠️
Inspired by Rare’s legacy, I used raw, simple strokes to capture both the digital quality and the characters’ energy, as well as the magnificent setting of Rare’s studio.

As I usually tried to catch the train home before rush hour, for a while, I wasn’t able to see how it looks like after 5 pm. Until one evening, I was working as usual and lost track of time. Light began to shimmer from above, to my right. It slowly spread across the sandy surface, turning the colours into a glaring white, which made it difficult to keep painting at a steady pace. As the sun moved, the light shifted into a warm golden orange, casting layered shadows. I packed up and closed the day’s work.
Next to the mural is the Rachel McMillan Nursery School, founded in the 1910s. Every day at 12 pm and 3 pm, parents gather outside to pick up their children. I like to say hi to the small faces while standing on the ladder.
