For Galleri 54’s member exhibition in December I framed a potato oil pastel. Call it my shy oil pastel premiere.
My study and warming up to the root so loved in the Nordics (I’m more of a grain person). Also here’s some other veggie studies!

Installation shots from the Överlapp appearance at the @lagerhusetsbibliotek the last two months, that wrapped up last week. Thanks to everyone that popped by!
We have some copies of this wonderful risoprinted collection of collaborative artworks left, a few copies can be found at @goteborgs_konstmuseum_butik and if you have any tips where you’d like to see them displayed let us know!
”Fruits of the Spanish Desert” is a work exploring the exploited landscape of Almería in Spain, where vast amount of produce destined to supermarkets of northern Europe is produced.
A cut-out try-out is this month exhibited at @kakelugn_galleri , a tiny exhibition space within @goteborgsbildverkstad , only viewable by members.
At the same time as I’m showing a piece from my work at Galleri Kakelugn I’ve also shown part of the puzzling landscape at the windows of my studio at Risåsgatan 12.
New work!
Working with themes of human intervention, ecological strain, and biodiversity loss the work Grass Closeups presents the production and imitation of the very building block of the perfect lawn; now bought in a hardware store or artificially generated for the perfect image of a listed property.

Images from our show Acts of Containment with Alberto Rossi and Lars Dyrendom at Galleri Resistance this summer.
The exhibition Acts of Containment examines how private gardens and lawns in suburban and urban landscapes, have evolved from spaces of leisure to controlled environments shaped by technology and consumerism. The exhibited works questions what it means to manage a landscape and how our reliance on technological solutions both empowers and restricts us.
The exhibition included prints, a publication, a video and text.

In the contemporary suburban landscape, the private garden, historically a symbol of leisure and cultivation, reflects shifting values: it is often a controlled environment shaped by technology, consumer habits, and social expectations. What does it mean to “manage” a landscape, a lawn? How do technological solutions both liberate and constrain us?
Our work invites viewers to reconsider how we inhabit and construct urban and suburban spaces, not as static backdrops, but as a dynamic, complex system reflecting our deepest social, technological, and environmental negotiations. What does it mean to share space with machines, with nature, and with each other?
The works explore these environments as reflections of societal dynamics like privilege, individualism, and the tension between the artificial and organic.
Whether documenting robotic “species”, exploring the treatment of non-human entities, or the individualistic (personal, private) suburban lifestyle, each piece gives a glimpse into our relationships to the environments we create and control.
