We’re delighted to announce our collaboration with Timothy Edlin, a dynamic English bass-baritone praised for his vocal richness and dramatic versatility.
A graduate of the Royal College of Music and former member of the OpernStudio NRW (2019–2021), Timothy has appeared with leading German houses including Theater Dortmund, Aalto Theater Essen, Oper Wuppertal, and Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen.
In the 2025/26 season, he joins the ensemble at Stadttheater Bremerhaven, performing roles such as:
– The King & the Cook (The Love for Three Oranges)
– Doctor Grenvil (La Traviata)
– Capellio (I Capuleti e i Montecchi)
– Judge Turpin (Sweeney Todd)
He also makes his MusikTheater an der Wien debut in:
– Poro (Handel, role: Timagene)
– Twice Alexander (Martinu, role: Das Portrait)
Recent highlights include appearances as Achilla (Giulio Cesare), Il Sagrestano (Tosca), Petrucci (Lucrezia Borgia), and Bottom (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), among others.
As a concert soloist, Timothy has performed at Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Palau de la Música, Boston Symphony Hall, Philharmonie Essen, and live on BBC Radio 3. He is a Salvat Beca Bach Prize winner and a frequent recitalist across Europe.
