As we prepare for this year’s Randall’s Island Park Alliance Gala, we’re proud to spotlight Gala Honoree Tim Howard, a champion whose impact reaches far beyond the field.
From his earliest days playing youth soccer in North Brunswick, New Jersey, to becoming one of the most celebrated goalkeepers in American soccer history, Tim continues to champion the importance of investing in young people and the spaces where they learn to dream big.
We are honored to celebrate Tim’s extraordinary career and his commitment to the next generation at this year’s Gala on June 3rd. His story is a powerful reminder of why access to parks, athletic facilities, and youth programming matters. The opportunities created on fields and in public spaces today can shape the leaders, teammates, and changemakers of tomorrow. Through sport and community, young people gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the game.
