“Seni Seviyorum, Hierapolis.” Part 2 of the tale. We meet an ancient being: The Greek guide. He endulges our ears with very wise words of wisdom. Very nice, okay? 🇬🇷 @timfrangos

Tell your mom, tell your grandma, tell your mom’s grandma’s cousin’s dog’s sister. Tell everyone! @wildevivontheloose and I worked tirelessly putting this all together, and it would mean the world to us and the rest of our class if you took a peek.
To my entire class, I love you. Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey. I am so grateful to have grown alongside you.
To my scene partners, thank you for your generosity, for your patience, and for your willingness to dive deep into the work.
To the family and friends who helped and collaborated with us along the way: my gratitude for you is endless. @theavalerieheadshots@joseph.demaria@iamtehillah especially… this wouldn’t have been possible without your commitment and willingness to make our vision a reality.

I WROTE AND DIRECTED A PLAY!!!
This has been a crazy second year of grad school and to sum it all up, I created a piece of art with some of my closest friends here at UCI. A celebration of Greek culture and experimental art based on Hesiod’s Theogony, Theogony, in association with Brick Theatre Co., is an original, devised work that follows the ancient Greek gods and their creation story placing a particular focus on Zeus and his origin story. In the world of Theogony, Zeus is the king of all things and the writer of history. Everything in the play is ultimately HIStory. Throughout the narrative, he encourages his players to share how he came to be and came to stay, forever. Much like our modern world, the audience will watch the characters strive to celebrate their individuality to only be quickly shut down by harsh social expectations. His story must go on, it must be told, and it's their job to either play a part in it or risk the punishment of creating a new one. From analyzing and critiquing the traditional views of the patriarchy to highlighting the importance of pursuing one’s own truth and identity, this project has become a passion project of mine, and I hope you all can come.
Performances are free and will be on Friday May 26th at 7:30 PM and Saturday May 27th at 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The eventbrite link to reserve a seat is in my bio. Τα λέμε σύντομα!
“My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite.”
Come see these two sad teens do some crazy things! Shows are this weekend only. Link in my bio for tickets 🥀

Project Title: “i sWEAR to”
First off, Happy International Women’s Day. Without the strong, beautiful, intelligent, and hardworking women in my life, I know I wouldn’t be the same. As many of you know, I am currently working on a project that culminates my time as a arts and humanities major at USC. This “thesis” includes a variety of different art projects that focus on intersectionality and the celebration of one’s own unique identity. In one of my specific projects that I’m highlighting now, I am celebrating a community of people that often experiences erasure: black trans femmes. “i sWEAR to” highlights the beauty of black excellency through Afrofuturism, drag culture, and the trans identity. This is your chance to get involved! You can have your very own shirt (modeled here by the wonderful JJ Smith and Nic Frangos) and bring awareness to the black trans femme community. For $30, you have the black one which highlights Afrofuturism, and for $35, you can purchase the white one which celebrates drag culture and the trans existence. If you are in the LA or Ventura County area, I will hand deliver to you, and if not I request another $2 for shipping costs. I currently have 10 shirts of each type and only have extra larges to accommodate for a wider range of people and allow you to make the shirt your own. You can cut it, wear it oversized, and so much more! Proceeds will be donated to @btfacollective , an organization that works to create an “uplifting, joyous space for Black trans women and non-binary femme artists to showcase their talent, advance their artistic careers, and explore the possibilities of their own creativity.” If you are interested in purchasing a shirt, feel free to DM me. Let’s swear to make difference together!
