I thought years had passed me by…
But in You, nothing is wasted.
For years, I felt like I had wasted my life.
Like I could have used my time better…
Like I should have known God earlier…
Like I missed it.
But over time, He showed me something—
every experience, every disappointment, every delay, every pain…
even the moments I refused to walk with Him…
But Acts 17:28 (NKJV)
“For in Him we live and move and have our being…”
He used it all.
It shaped me.
It drew me closer.
It taught me how to walk with Him better now.
Now I come to Him knowing…
His timing was perfect all along.
Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God…”
Nothing was wasted , God was working all along.

Where do I begin…
Meeting Nana Yaa of @maryamoah685 My journey with Autism on her 23rd birthday was nothing short of a blessing.
I knew God wanted me to meet her mum, Auntie Mary, but I didn’t know how it would happen, and I didn’t want to play God. The Holy Spirit had prompted me, but I chose to let God lead and bring it to pass. And truly, it was divinely ordained, unfolding perfectly on Nana Yaa’s birthday.
Auntie Mary shared that Nana does not usually hug strangers, yet she reached out to hug me. That moment meant so much to me because I understand how important personal space is for our children. She felt my heart, and I felt hers too.

The more you dwell in the Word, the more you begin to know the heart, voice, character, and nature of God.

Children learn more from how we live than just what we say.
They watch our words, our reactions, our habits, our tone, our love, our anger, our worship… and little by little they repeat it.
As parents and caretakers, we must watch our tongue, actions, and character because those little blessings are always watching and learning.
I’m a student daily, learning from every moment and every interaction, so this moment was no exception.

There is something about God and how He brings life to what looks deserted, dry, and barren.
In Genesis 1, the earth was without form and void… yet God spoke light and filled the emptiness.
Sarah was barren… yet God brought forth fruitfulness through Isaac.
Naomi returned empty, grieving her husband and sons… yet God lifted Ruth and restored her story with new life and legacy.
Again and again throughout Scripture, God enters dry places and causes life to spring forth.
So what in your life has become dry, empty, unformed, or silent?
Hear the word of the Lord!!!
Prophesy.
Speak life.
Call forth .
“O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!” — Ezekiel 37:4
Thank you, mothers, for always putting your children first.

Not everyone processes information the same way.
Sometimes the ear hears, but the brain needs time to understand.
Auditory processing is not just about hearing, it’s how the brain understands sound.
So sometimes when you’re speaking to your child or anyone and they seem not to comprehend, it may not be a hearing issue , it may be how the brain is processing the information.
So this is what you can do…
Illustrate.
Speak with pictures.
Use videos.
Show, don’t just tell.
Break things down into simple steps.
Use short, clear statements.
Repeat when needed.
Give them time to process.
Reduce distractions when you can.
Because sometimes understanding doesn’t come from more words…
it comes from clearer communication
Adjust. Be patient. Lead with empathy.
