SEIZOEN / SEASON 2026–2027
We proudly present the first full season of Glen Lambrecht Ballet, a bold year of new creations, reinventions, and international collaboration.
The season opens with Jeanne D’Arc (September 4–6, Minard Theatre Ghent): a powerful and visually striking ballet exploring the inner conflict and spiritual calling of Joan of Arc. Not a traditional retelling, but a raw, physical and emotional journey through faith, power, and sacrifice. Touring follows in late November and early December 2026.
In May 2027, we present The Second Skin, inspired by Lili Elbe, one of the first people to undergo gender-affirming surgery. A layered and intimate creation by Glen Lambrecht and Tono Ferriol about identity, transformation, and becoming (May 7–8, De Kleine Beer Beernem).
Our acclaimed Oorlogsdochters (Daughters of War) returns in a fully reimagined version. Sharper, rawer, and more urgent than ever. Touring across Flanders from April 2027.
The season concludes with an International Dance Gala, in collaboration with the Academy of Geraardsbergen, featuring renowned international dancers and companies (June 26, 2027, Arjaan Theatre Geraardsbergen).
