Made a couple of small touch-ups to Inago, just to fill out his torso a bit better and make some connections more stable. I think it gets the musculature across a bit better too.

Here's the inspiration board for my latest Gossamer Galaxy MOC: Kamaki! I've known for a long time that I wanted to do an Orchid Mantis as part of this project. At first, I was planning on using Krika's pieces in some capacity, but when the Botanicals Magnolia Branches set was announced, this current version started to take shape. She's probably one of my favourite MOCs I've made as part of this project.
I've also included the size comparison pics that I didn't have room for last time. She's the tallest one yet, barely fitting on my shelves.

Not all worlds in the Gossamer Galaxy are part of the sector-spanning Hexat Council. Generations ago, the verdant world of Kiruda was cast out of the Galactic community following a failed attempt to conquer its neighbours.
Now, Kiruda is a shadow of its former glory. The once united empire has fractured into warring states, and threatens to blast itself back to the pre-industrial age.
Only one Kirudan seems to care what their world once was. Kamaki is the last heir of the Kirudan imperial family. Since childhood, she was raised on stories of her planet's grand history. Now, she leads what remains of her family's followers into battle against those who would further destabilise her world. She doesn't care for empire building; she just wants to see her people whole again. But as Galactic politics take a sudden turn, a mysterious visitor might give her the chance...

Introducing my latest MOC: Kamaki; princess of Kiruda! The final member of my core Gossamer Galaxy team is taking longer than expected to complete, so I thought I'd start building some secondary characters from the lore too. Kamaki here is the first such character in the 'Gossamer Galaxy Extras' sub-series. Hope you like her!

With 2025 coming to a close, here are the MOCs I made this year. 5 in total including revamps; the same as last year. Once again, my Gossamer Galaxy bug characters dominate, but I also got a cool knight guy done, not to mention a weird and wonderful build for the Bones collab!

Here's the inspiration board for the latest installment in the Gossamer Galaxy project: Hayasa. The head design for this one was very difficult, due to the size of a dragonfly's eyes. I think it turned out okay though.

The most technologically advanced planet in the Gossamer Galaxy is the windy world of Stratos-4; home to the Odonatans.
Other worlds may boast the biggest armies or the strongest warships, but the Odonatans' small fighter craft are unmatched, and are sold to many of the other powers. Stratos-4's electronics sector is also more advanced than their neighbours', and many automated systems across the sector run on Odonatan software.
Like all other races in the sector, Odonatans have no wings. However, many craft or purchase artificial wing-packs for themselves, to more easily navigate Stratos-4's dense atmosphere.
Their seat on the Hexat Council was given to Hayasa; the undefeated champion of Stratos-4's favourite sport: jet racing. Born to a destitute family, Hayasa was always incredibly gifted with machines. She built her first wing-pack out of scrap at a young age, and entered a prominent jet racing tournament without a pit crew. Her subsequent win over the then-champion catapulted her to stardom, and brought her the money and resources to enhance her inventions.
Her wing-pack is now state-of-the-art, and she is accompanied at all times by her camera drone 'Nymph'. Her stardom became so great that the powers-that-be on Stratos-4 became nervous of the political capital she might acquire, and hurriedly offered her the council seat to get her off-world. Hayasa gladly accepted, however, caring little for homeworld politics. Ever the wallflower despite her fame, she would much rather spend the day tinkering with her beloved machines than talking to people. A dead-end job on a Council that no-one on the core worlds cares about anymore is sure to give her the isolation she seeks... right?...

On the magical world of Kishido, Queen Alicia and her brave knights are winning the fight against the vicious Star Dragons. Just as victory seems at hand though, a figure clad in blackened armour appears before them, bearing the same draconic arm as Alicia. The Star Dragons have their own champion, and he is no friend of knights...

This is my latest MOC: Adric: Bane of Knights! I've had this concept for the villain of Alicia's story in my head for a long time now, but I could never design a helmet I liked. I think he's finally where I want him now. Hope you like him!
