Meet @iainpennington - Edinburgh colourist, former chef, and one of the most thoughtful voices in the colorgrading today.

My color grades aren’t presets,
In this second BTS from the regrade of the commercial for Rijksen Uitvaartzorg, I’m refining the emotional tone even further.
Power windows and pen tool masks to subtly lift the exposure behind the glasses.
Bringing more attention to the eye.
Adding mid detail and contrast where it matters.
And then shaping the overall atmosphere, pushing teal and orange carefully, guiding the image/story from cool to warm.
