Not in training? That’s fine. Stay in focus with Modex - which contains Pycnogenol®, helps you stay focused for longer. By supporting natural energy production, improving oxygen delivery, and reducing oxidative stress, it keeps your mind clear and sharp — even under pressure.
A massive congratulations – and farewell – to Aussie triathlete @timberkel as he calls time on a remarkable triathlon career!
For over a decade, we’ve been proud to support Tim through countless training blocks, race days, podium finishes and epic wins. Across more than 40 Ironman events and many trips to the Ironman World Championship in Kona, his grit, passion and professionalism have left a lasting mark on the sport – and no doubt inspired many of the next generation of Aussie triathletes.
From all of us at Giant Australia: thank you, Tim – for the memories, the performances and the partnership. While this chapter may be ending, we know you’ll always be part of the triathlon community!

Well she’s been one hell of a ride!
It felt as though there would never be a ‘right time’ or a perfect ending to triathlon for me. A sport which has given me so much purpose, discipline and joy and has shaped me for over 20 years.
I have travelled to incredible places around the world, met countless interesting people, made lifelong friends and built relationships with companies along the way. Im pretty damn proud of my results having done hundreds of races with 42 Ironmans, managing to pull off a couple wins, consistent podium finishes throughout my career and got to experience the Big Island seven times with a 7th at Ironman World Championships being my best result. All of this also meant there was alot of injury, tears, missed special moments, setbacks, and personal battles over the years which many don’t see.
I am so beyond grateful and humbled by the support over the years of living the pro life. To my sponsors who have stuck by me and given me more than one could ask for to aid in my training and racing journey. The coaches and other specialist sport and medical staff who have guided me and assisted me to stay at my peak. To all the fans and supporters out on course or reaching out for your forever encouragement. To my family, friends, and partner for being there on the darkest and brightest days and sacrificing so much for me to chase my dream.
I may be retiring but this will always be a part of me and I’m sure you will still see me around supporting events and maintaining my relationship with the sport, albeit with a beer at the finish line or a coffee ride instead.
There may never be a right time…but for me this is my ending 🤙🏻🫡
(And thanks to the all-time great 🎥 @koruptvision for capturing all the moments and being a GC)
