We live in an era of global crises. COVID19 forced us to stop. In the people-led response to the pandemic we saw another world emerging. But vested interests will do everything they can to stop us from learning the lessons of this global pandemic. Our climate is being destroyed and our politicians and political systems will return us to 'normal' if we do not rebel.  Refuse to go back. Join us in rebellion right now. Structural political change is necessary - citizens assemblies are the way forwards. Deliberation, not debate. Citizens, not politicians. Power has had it’s chance and failed. We will not be servants of systems that will kill us - we transform our anger and embody peaceful regenerative refusal and resistance. 💬 ’The creative expression is still there. I’m just looking for another way for it to come out.’ 💬 Breanna and her brother Casey began ballet dancing together at a young age. She was the older sibling and took him to ballet lessons. Her dance interests includes flamenco, salsa, and bachata 💃🕺 At some point, Breanna shifted away from pursuing ballet professionally and focused on other parts of her life. In October 2023 Breanna was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She describes the onset of symptoms: during a hike in 2022 she experienced heavy legs and a “walking through mud” feeling. Later she developed “foot drop” (loss of control of her left foot) which led to further tests and eventual diagnosis. Breanna has expressed that one of her purposes now is to raise awareness for ALS and motor neuron diseases and to help others facing similar challenges. Yet, on December 10th Breanna Olson will perform a groundbreaking live dance at the OBA Theatre Amsterdam. A world-first live dance performance, defying the limits of ALS. A fusion of brainwave technology and human expression, exploring a new frontier of the moving arts. I am more than grateful of being part of the team at @dentsu_lab who have been working on this project for many years. Thanks a million Pascal & Majke! It’s a pleasure working with you <3
