Two and a Half Rooms is a group exhibition conceived specifically for PAD Paris 2026. The project takes the form of a spatial installation made up of two symmetrical rooms and a narrow corridor in between — literally creating “two and a half rooms” within the fair.
The two main spaces are designed as familiar interiors: one reads as an office, the other as a living room. Facing each other, they echo one another while offering different atmospheres and uses. Between them, a tight corridor acts as a transitional space — almost a room in itself — slowing the visitor down and shifting the experience from one side to the other.
The booth is conceived as an intimate environment within the open setting of the fair. Walls are covered in a dark grey-brown corduroy fabric, giving the space a soft, velvety, almost cave-like quality. The aim is to create a sense of warmth and enclosure — a place where visitors can pause, breathe, and experience the works more closely. The exhibition brings together a group of artists working with a shared palette of neutral and warm tones, alongside a recurring color blue, reminiscent of the presence of water in caves.
Materials play an important role throughout the installation, including noble metals and exotic woods, chosen for their tactile and sensory qualities. Design works are complemented by a selection of blue-chip artworks, creating a dialogue between contemporary design and established art practices.
2025, a year in images.
We created many new works, had the opportunity to exhibit both nationally and internationally, and spent much of the year producing. We are deeply grateful for all the support.
