Walking about is one of my favourite things to do. I've recently become interested in the early Greek philosophers, who also seemed to enjoy walking. I don't understand most of what they had to say, but this past winter I've often found myself thinking about their warm evenings and strange conversations.
Science and poetry as the same thing. The fun of having your head filled with ideas about time and space. The world like a big elastic band you can play around with. Every event as special as the next. I hope to make work that runs with these half-finished ideas.
散歩は僕の好きなことのひとつです。最近、初期ギリシア哲学者に興味を持つようになりました。彼らも散歩を楽しんでいたようです。彼らの言ったことのほとんどを理解することはできませんが、この冬は、彼らの過ごした暖かい夜や不思議な会話についてよく考えていました。科学と詩は同じもの。頭の中が時間と空間のアイデアでいっぱいになる楽しさ。世界は自由に遊べる大きなゴムバンドのよう。すべてのイベントは、次のイベントと同じくらい特別なもの。僕は、このような未完成のアイデアたちで作品を作りたいと思っています。
