What a privilege it was to be part of @koreatownrunclub x @krctsp Team Road Rules V for my first TSP experience. I had heard the stories, but I didn’t fully understand it until now. This was truly an eye opening, wild journey.
From Santa Monica to the Las Vegas sign, covering nearly 300 miles by foot and car while facing every obstacle that came with it, these moments revealed resilience and uncovered new truths about ourselves.
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better group that I can now call family, to go through it with. Every moment, from the highs that had us celebrating to the lows that tested us, felt like it meant something bigger.
It wasn’t just about how fast we could finish, but about how each person stepped up when it mattered most, and how we came together when everything took a 180 out of nowhere. Watching everyone push past their limits, dig deep, and show up for the team was inspiring.
Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. To be part of this group, to share something this intense, chaotic, and unforgettable, it’s something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Truly no other way I would’ve wanted to experience something this crazy.
Each person, each team, and each route tells a story, but the story of Team Road Rules V is one that’ll be remembered.
Momentum doesn’t always look loud. Sometimes it’s subtle, quiet, and found in the small things you do consistently. No big announcements, just steady progress moving forward with people who keep you grounded and growing ✨

OC full marathon was a battle, both mentally and physically. Racked up 1000+ miles just to run a 26.2 mile race in the hopes of trying to best my previous time. This cycle wasn’t fixated on time chasing but rather, a testament to see where my fitness can take me. Overall, this was a good solid cycle of training and putting up miles. However, what I learned from my previous blocks is that anything can change on the day that matters.
When race day came, I felt pretty good and was vibing out, but when the clock started ticking, my body and mind wasn’t there. I felt tired, my right knee was feeling it for the first few miles, and it was a solo fought effort for the majority of it. I felt myself checking out early in the race and at around mile 14 or 15, I was ready to just let go my effort and cruise with whatever energy I had for the rest of the way. It wasn’t until I hit the 20 mile marker when I looked down at my watch and saw I was coming in at 2 hours that gave me back my confidence and reassurance that I still had a shot to run under 2:40. At that point, I was quite surprised because I thought I faded off into running between 2:45-2:50 and I was ready to accept that. My fitness pulled me to the finish line and my confidence wouldn’t have resurrected without it.
To everyone that showed out and been so supportive, this one was for you because this is a big thank you from me. I am officially a sub 2:40 marathoner 🥳
