“2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.”
Thank you Mother Tuskegee for the lessons you’ve taught me over the past 5 years and the lifelong friends I’ve made during my time here. To the class of ‘24, I’m so proud of US.

Paging Dr. Washington:
“To be young, gifted, and black”
In August of 2019, I came to Tuskegee with one goal in mind. My dream of becoming a surgeon has persevered and today, May 11, 2024 I graduate from the #1 HBCU for stem majors.
It’s taken sleepless nights, countless hours of studying and a strong support system but mama we finally made it!
I wanna give a huge shout out to Dr. Chastity Bradford, without you and your tough love I don’t think I would’ve been able to see this degree through and I am forever grateful for that! You are a prime example of why Black Educators Matter!
It started all the way back in 1988…To the Trendsetting and Trailblazing Rave Revue Modeling Troupe, you have taught me so much about myself. I truly would not be the man I am today without the values that you have instilled in me.
To my pros, thank you so much for believing in me and showing me what it means to be a true member of this amazing organization.
To my Rebellious 12, where do I even start? Thru it all y’all have had my back and I can’t even begin to express how much love I have for y’all. On May 27th, 2021, I gained 11 siblings and I’ll always cherish the memories we made and I look forward to the ones we have yet to make.
To I8, my lil n*ggas. I literally don’t have the words to describe how proud I am of each and every single one of you. Thank you allowing me to lead you but more importantly thank you for teaching me patience . Continue to lead Rave Revue to Success.
