Really happy with how these steel shelves and wall cladding turned out. In a world where we’re often asked to try to hide all of the fasteners it’s really fun to take the opposite approach and be able to select and showcase beautiful hardware.

These curved fluted columns were tricky but are coming together nicely. Over 300 individual parts welded into 6 pieces that interlock to create a stunning feature wall.
The keys to making this look great:
1. Keeping our welds as small as possible to minimize heat distortion on the many tiny parts that make these up.
2. Prepping the parts before hand so that they are ready to take patina
3. Carefully sanding out all of the heat marks before finishing
4. Slow and steady patina to get a nice even color without letting excess patina sit in any of the seams which would cause discoloration.
It’s not a fast process but it’s absolutely worth it. We’re excited to share more when these get installed.
This condo was looking for a new look but needed to keep the original hydronic baseboard heat so we fabricated some custom perforated baseboard covers that bring a fresh look to the old system.
Milling these hinge mortises and roller catch details right into the 3/8” steel plate was not the quickest way to build these but it does give these the cleanest look.
Next step is the doors which will have custom fabricated full length handles and get clad in 16g blackened steel.
This office is going to be a stunner!

It’s the little details that really make these railings pop. No visible welds, flush mounting plates, and drilled/epoxied connection to the treads.

Rolled out the old bandsaw to speed up production on this run of HSS5x3x.25 parts. Each cut takes ~10+ minutes so you can save a lot of time by doubling up and running the secondary processes like drilling in the downtime while both saws are running.
