what a journey it has been. i had no clue how i would feel on the day i'll be on stage dancing pure classical ballet surrounded by beautiful dancers... but then, it was pure joy to get inspired and learn everyday from masters and legends. so grateful for the opportunity for growth as an artist🙏🌹 and grazie per tutto to my beautiful birdy partner @filippo_mambelli 🐦👑 it was fun to share the stage with you👸🏻🐦

Tonight Val Caniparoli will take his final bow as a Company dancer. After 53 years, he's chosen to step away from our stage to continue his focus on full-time choreography. In addition to his dancing career, Val has created an astonishing 24 ballets for SF Ballet, today we're looking back at some of his most memorable works. Join us in celebrating his talent!
