☰ GROUP SHOW YEAR 3 ☰ ALL AND NOTHING The final rehearsals for All and Nothing, Codarts Circus Arts 3rd year’s group production, are in full swing, and the premiere is approaching fast. Join us for the shows on 2nd (17:30h) & 3rd (16:30h) of May 2025 during @Circusstad festival in Rotterdam! Directed by Tim Lenkiewicz @tiimucirc , the performers and Tim explore their perspectives of what really matters to them, taking inspiration from folk tales and bringing the cosmos into the choreography. All and Nothing is performed by the third-year students in our very own Codarts Circus building, with live music by Codarts alumna Simona Mihaylova. Following on from my last post about the #Gule2.0 festival in Lusaka, Zambia, here are some pictures of On the Moon. The performance I was commissioned to make with @vanessamayfield & @circuszambia incredible #acrobats, #aerialists and #jugglers ! This was a short creative exchange project designed so that I could show them new ways of working, forming narrative meaning and inventing choreographic threads which we wove through the performance. It was an incredible month with a great bunch of people using circus to create new life opportunities for young performers. It's been such a great couple of weeks working with @kantacompanycircus on their new show #107waysofdealingwithpressure We've learned new moves, invented new ideas, explored new sounds and had a great time working on a heavy theme. Tonight's the end of this project and the premier @arts_printing_house and I can't wait to share our work.
