Brickworld experience always inspires and motivates me for new ideas. After two years of castle and LoTR, I’d like to get my hand into building botanical creatures, and here’s my first finished build, a floral owl. It may not be pretty, I know I have a lot more to learn, like coloring, part usage, stability, etc., but I really like the direction I’m heading towards.

Train Ride to Windy City
Over the past year we have worked on a large train display for Brickworld Chicago!
This was my first ever collaborative display! Each member who helped build did not just build their piece and stop they gave me ideas and helped to make each part look better and more natural!
Nothing goes smooth or as you plan. This display wasn’t the easiest to get together, there was some issues with tables not being level as we hoped. Train lines not working and many other little things!
I was chasing the Best Train Layout award with this one but I built something I loved in doing it. While we did not end up with that award, we are so pleased and proud to have received the Accessibility Award!
