Generation X Topic: „Don‘t waste it“- A fashion collection inspired by concepts for intergenerational sustainability in fashion.
The collection deals with intergenerational sustainability and the influence of our consumer behaviour on climate change. The aim is to encourage people of all ages, from small children to grandparents, to think about consumption and discover new ways to live a more frugal lifestyle. Under the motto “Don ‘t waste it”, the collection focuses on a playful, colourful and creative aesthetic that highlights repair, upcycling and the reuse of natural materials such as birch bark. These materials, some of which are hand-painted by participants of all generations, convey a sense of appreciation and conscious use of resources. Children play a central role in this. Their ideas, artistic contributions and direct, inspiring perspectives have a significant influence on the collection and help shape its visual identity.
