Dear Handsome Folks,
You may have noticed that we have been on a little hiatus these last few weeks. In general, we've played a lot fewer shows this year than years previous, but this end of the year break, specifically, was designed for reflection. Not to think about music, but to take time and examine our journey these last five years, and understand our priorities as individuals.
Tigera is made of five people, but exists because of your support. We’re not a band without you, and we are eternally grateful for the love you continue to give to us. Acknowledging this, however bittersweet it is, we’re announcing the departure of our lead singer, Dev, from the band.
Dev doesn’t make this decision lightly, and we know that whatever he goes on to do he will flourish and amaze, just as we believe he did in Tigera. It’s sad to see him leave, but only selfishly. As he moves on to the next chapter of his life, we wish him the best in all he goes on to do.And while this chapter has come to an end, with a turn of the page Tigera’s story continues.
We will press on as a group, but importantly, we want to continue as a five-piece band. Something that we believe makes us unique is the presence of a lead singer, unencumbered by an instrument. So, we are looking for a new front person. We want to hit ground running with auditions as soon as we can. If you’re interested, shoot us a DM.
