It’s hard to put into words what it means to be back on the pitch with this group. The past year has shaped me in ways I’m still learning to understand, and I’m so grateful for everyone who supported me through it all. I’ve been met with love and encouragement at every step, and I can only hope to give even a fraction of that back. I’m so excited to be back out here representing this club and doing what I love with all of my teammates!!
Championship week looked a bit different than I ever envisioned. This year has been filled with pain, patience, and progress. It has been beautiful and arduous at the same time. There were days I felt connected and productive, and days I felt like I was failing in the role I care about so deeply as a captain. However, bearing witness to this group’s fight, heart and joy all season has filled me with such pride and gratitude to even be a small part of something so special. To celebrate this group is the easiest thing anyone could ask. With that, we are NWSL Champions 🏆
