How do you design sunglasses 2,417 km apart?
You start with trust. And stay on Zoom longer than planned.
This project took a year between Kyiv and London. The modular chain is handcrafted in Kyiv at @broq.world studio. Each pair includes detachable sterling silver connectors that allow the chain to be removed, reconfigured, or even worn as earrings. The chain is individually formed, making each piece slightly unique.
The sunglasses, designed and manufactured entirely in London by @tides_studios , feature a bold yet organic silhouette. They are 3D printed in nylon using high-performance SLS technology - lightweight yet strong, designed for everyday wear.

HOW IT’S MADE.
The process behind how we designed our latest pair of glasses in collaboration with SLX 🌸
We wanted to incorporate her unique style with bright floral designs and started sketching out some concepts.
Then into augmented reality and using gravity sketch start sketching those concepts in 3D.
We created a huge library of different shapes and styles which we could then export and use as the base of the glasses.
We then took them into blender, Rhino and Fusion360 and started to turn them into a function pair of glasses.
Then we began the prototyping process, in which we 3D printed, reviewed the design, edited the 3D model and repeat.
After many many many different prototypes we finally had the design that we fell in love with.
