Luiz Saldanha Marine Park allow divers to witness the power of conservation. If you hold your breath or carry a tank, you have to stand for more and properly managed marine protected areas (MPAs).
Although for me #everydayismantaday, I celebrate #worldmantaday to raise awareness to the urgency of adopting responsible fishing practices, increase the number of marine protected areas and consolidate the effectiveness of the existent ones.

Long gone are the days a kid stood hours in front of the TV watching shark documentaries and dreaming... Today the very same child can't express how happy and privileged he feels to fulfill those dreams and finally share a moment with it's favorite non-human being.
Although such moment brings me the also the shame and sadness about how we human beings are threatening the survival of all shark species.

In 2018 I took this video while diving in Red Sea. At first I felt so happy and privileged to be accepted by mother nature in such a special way. My dive mask barely contained the smile in my face. But once I saw the human trace/trash in this poor guy my heart sinked into such a f****g sadness. What the f***k are we doing... Sharks, as all our fellow creatures, that share this world with us deserve more. Deserve respect and dignity. Many shark species are are threatened by extinction just because we don't care. Just because we are selfish and greedy.
