𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦 in the making — fieldwork in the Danube Delta 🌬️ Thinking about breath not as something individual, but as a shared ecological process. Air as a collective medium. What we inhale has already passed through other bodies, human and non-human. Researching wetlands, floating reed islands, air currents and photosynthetic systems as living infrastructures of exchange — unstable environments where water, air, plants and microorganisms continuously transform one another. Inspired by the idea of a “benign ecology” described by Marietta Pallis: an ecology based not on control, but on observing relations, feedback loops and fragile interdependencies. The Delta becomes both site and method — a breathing system that resists fixed boundaries. 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦 develops as a responsive installation combining data, sound and atmospheric movement shaped by respiration and human presence. Because data is never neutral.
