In 1999, we founded our company with a single model: the TIDAL Piano. Since then, we have created a universe defined by excellence and a reputation at the very pinnacle of high-end audio.
Though we know that owning a TIDAL masterpiece comes at a price—because we never compromise on performance—and the bar is set high with our current collection.
So we felt it was time to return to our origins and how it started, and to celebrate them with a new entry loudspeaker, reimagined as it was in the beginning. This means without our diamond and ceramic drivers, without most stainless steel components, and without our complex poly-shell cabinets. And yet, refined with all the knowledge, experience, and technology we possess today, carrying our full brand DNA, executed without compromise. Last year I was forced to abandon nearly a lifetime of assumptions about audio, when I visited the Tidal factory outside Köln. The story of the Bugatti Royale project is serendipitous on the extreme - the kind of happy accident that is impossible to plan, but could only result from mutual recognition of passion and excellence in the right place at the right time. The results are breathtaking, and can only really be experienced in person with Jörn and the team in Erfstadt - I hope in lieu of that this can convey some small part of that very special experience.
