From the streets of San Francisco to the Oregon coast. This cruise is something else. 🚎 🪨
Yesterday we drove ourselves around San Francisco in a GoCar and I cannot stop thinking about how that is the way to see a city. No tour guide telling you where to look. No bus schedule rushing you through. Just freedom, the road, and some genuinely breathtaking views.
Today we are soaking up a full sea day on the Brilliant Lady, and honestly, after all that exploring, the ocean air and zero agenda is exactly what we needed.
Tomorrow we dock in Astoria, Oregon, where we are renting a buggy 🚗 and driving down the coast to Cannon Beach. Pacific Ocean on one side. Old growth Oregon scenery on the other. 🌲 And if the timing is right, we are hoping to spot Tufted Puffins 🐧 along the coast and explore the tide pools during low tide. I have been looking forward to this stop for weeks.
