I’ve had this fabric for a really long time and couldn’t figure out what to do with it. It’s light so a bag wouldn’t work but I think this works out perfect for this shirt. This is a ‘wrap shirt’ and can be tied a few different ways. I have some fabric left so I may make a skirt, shorts or even a bucket hat to go with it. Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, no surprise I know. I have been really busy lately like really busy. I will post pictures showing what I’ve been busy doing for the last month later. But today I want to talk POCKETS! I have been practicing adding pockets to dresses and skirts, game changer! I’ve also been making my jeans pockets bigger because us ladies get robbed in the pocket department. What a fantastic way to start the month, a family showing in the new Janis Fine Arts Studio. @tiadee , @alexandrums ’ my youngest Son Jax, Granddaughter Faye and Myself all shared our work, last Saturday. It wouldn’t have truly been right if @williambarrettiii hadn’t been there to celebrate with us. Thank you to everyone that came out and supported us. I want to say Thank You to everyone that made it to the Cleveland Bazaar this past Saturday. We had a great time, met a lot of amazing people and had some great conversations. I made some holiday gift bags and I have a few left but I also have a lot of fabric left to make more. My mom absolutely loved Christmas, I got all of her fabric after she passed and didn’t know what to do with it. Since I’m all about no waste I figured the best thing to do is make reusable gift bags. It’s such a waste to buy paper and just throw it away year after year. These bags can be used over and over for many years to come. They are perfect for that gift that’s difficult to wrap also.
