This delightful mid-century home has been given a fresh chapter - light filled, playful, and designed for contemporary living.
Bright northern light pours through new double height windows, opening up a void that connects the levels and brings a sense of generosity to the living space. Above, a retreat within the new first floor addition overlooks the living area below.
Colours draw inspiration from the playful palettes of the era, layered with texture for warmth - creating spaces that feel joyful, generous, and easy to live in.

A few progress shots of the addition to this mid century brick house. We’ve used ribbed metal cladding to clearly distinguish new from old. The white ties in with the original house, keeping it all connected. It’s a no-fuss material — durable, low-maintenance, and gives the place a sharp, clean, sharp modern feel.
