One of my recent self-portraits for „the most beautiful flower grows amongst the sharpest spines“. Haven‘t shown my work in over a year, partly because I didn‘t feel like showing myself or my work. Thanks to The Anonymous Photographers Society I was able to grasp my feelings and put some things back together! Much love to everyone, thank you for being the best society ever ❣️
Also thank you to @oddmaido for Lighting/Camera help <333
Manifesting more ⭐️
Last pictures of my series „people live(d) here (2021-2024)
Sometimes I dream of being back in this kitchen - the place I have so many memories in (good and bad) - the hangout-place of so many evenings and let’s not forget lockdown when this was our whole world.
Thank you as always @___fezzi and @teepueppchen for letting me capture you <333
„Der Gedanke an Sommer im Winter“ („The thought of Summer in winter“)
This collaborate zine was created together with @marleenkoelmel and @maramenzel in November/December 2024. Printed in 2 colours on the Riso-Printer @risokiosk and first sold at the Bauhaus Weihnachtsmarkt that same month! This is a snipped of the pages that make up the artist book! We still have some copies left so reach out if you want one for yourself or as a gift!
A lot of hard work went into creating this but in the end it was all worth it ^^

Repros from the Cyanotype-Prints of the continuation of „The most delicate flower grows monger the sharpest spines“ The exhibited at the Winterwerkschau auf the Department of Photography in February 2026.
This series is quite hard for me to make and continue but slowly I find ways to capture the feelings of depression, anxiety and s****idal ideations. It’s a way of acknowledging it but also a ways to release it - I hope!
The self portrait is inspired by Francesca Woodmans double expose of her sitting in a chair with plant on the side. I am really inspired by her photography for some time and can see myself in many of her works.
The Lily and it‘s decay stands as a symbolism of death and the questions of when our life begins and end.
Always thankful for the support of our teacher @albrechtjulia.de and the whole class! Thank you for making the space feel safe and helping with navigating this rough path <333
This series will continue in time but now I need to take a break and focus on some more lighthearted and fun projects - ways to feel better instead of lingering on the dark sides for too long! :*

The series „people live(d) here (2021-2024) explores the changes of my childhood home after it turned into a shared flat. The photographs were taken on a view camera with 4x5 inch and 9,5x12 cm b&w negatives. The prints were handmade in the darkroom in spring 2022 and summer 2025.
For more information visit my website thyrakolde.com ! (Under construction as of now :3 )
Thanks again to @eilaboldt for helping me with the installation! :-)
