Plant medicines are entering the mainstream conversation in a bigger way.
Trump’s recent executive order did not legalize ibogaine or remove it from Schedule I — but it did direct agencies to accelerate research and explore pathways for psychedelic treatments for serious mental health conditions, addiction, and veteran care.
And honestly… this is where nuance matters.
I believe these medicines hold profound healing potential. I’ve seen how sacred plants and fungi can help people reconnect to life, process trauma, and remember their wholeness.
But these are not trend products.
They are not shortcuts.
They are not something to extract from the Earth, strip of context, and sell back to us without care.
Iboga comes from sacred traditions and living ecosystems in Gabon. As interest grows, so must our commitment to conservation, reciprocity, lineage respect, safety, and integration.
Because when medicine is treated only as commodity, it can lose its wisdom.
Healing is not just about access.
It’s about relationship.
Relationship to the Earth, to the communities who have carried these traditions, and to ourselves.
May the future of this movement be rooted in reverence, not exploitation. 🌍🌿✨
What are your thoughts on psychedelics entering the mainstream medical system?
Birthday blessings in motion ✨
This carousel holds some of my favorite moments from a birthday I’ll never forget. Not because it was extravagant or perfectly planned — but because it was built from trust, prayer, and the kind of love that says yes, let’s go even when the map is unclear.
We followed a gut feeling into the Diamante Valley with no real agenda, only a prayer: cacao, ceremony, dance, connection, beauty. And somehow, everything arrived.
The day unfolded in pure magic — cacao circle, ecstatic dance, kundalini activation, waterfalls, sound bath, farm-to-table nourishment, then deeper into the jungle where we were welcomed onto sacred land by Abuela Anna. She shared food, fire, wisdom, healing, and stories of the ancient spheres of Costa Rica. Also as a magical surprise, just as I received rapéh, a rainbow stretched across the sky like the sweetest birthday banner. Later we sang around the fire, gazed beneath the stars, and rose before sunrise to witness the cosmic alignment (that just so happened to be happening on my birthday) with full hearts.
More than anything, I feel gratitude.
For the friends who uplift me, support my visions, and adventure beside me.
For the elders who open their homes and hearts.
For the strangers who become medicine along the way.
For the reminder that abundance is always here when we know how to see it.
Costa Rica has a way of amplifying life. The stars sparkle louder, the trees sing, the earth feeds you, and beauty feels endless.
Pura Vida, indeed.
Thank you life for another year around the sun. 🌞🌙🌿💛

Another year around the sun, and I find myself deeper in devotion.
Singing to Pachamama from the soil of Costa Rica, remembering that my path is not something I chase, but something I tend… like a garden, like a fire.
Today feels like a prayer in motion: cacao, dancing, sound bathing, waterfall swimming, singing, and later, sitting with ancient stones around the sacred fire as the sun and moon weave their quiet twice a year alignment. What a gift to witness all these magical things!...what a fun way to celebrate the passage of time!
My time in Costa Rica with my unplugged plant-loving tribe reminds me that I’m walking with the plants not just as medicine, but as teachers. And while I'm here I'm receiving so many lessons that I plan to bring into Plant Church, Temple of the Burning Heart and beyond.
More updates on the journey to come, but for now I'm sending love and gratitude!
Grateful to be getting older.
Grateful to be getting wiser.
Grateful to still be learning how to belong to this Earth.
Our Sacred Rage Retreat in the Catskills was something else.
We laughed, we cried, we learned, we ate, we danced, we journeyed.
It really felt like we’d always known each other.
And watching the women arrive and leave as more of themselves was honestly unreal to witness.
There’s something that happens when you’re held, seen, and finally allowed to feel what’s been waiting underneath.
If you feel the pull, the waitlist for the next one is open.
The sacred rage retreat had to be rescheduled due to weather. New dates: march 20-22 | catskills, ny
We’re coming together to do what most of us were never taught to do: work with our rage instead of against it.
Most of us learned early that anger was “bad” and something to contain, soften, or apologize for.
We built systems to manage it or pushed it down until it started leaking out sideways.
Rage doesn’t show up to ruin you. It shows up because something matters, a boundary was crossed, or because a part of you is still fighting for something real.
It’s not a problem to fix or feelings to get through, rage is a sacred messenger carrying information your body has been trying to hand you for years.
This retreat is about finally learning to receive it and work with it, because your rage is needed now more than ever.
Three days in 500 acres of wild nature with myself, @maraleegilbert and @thyme.space , working with plant allies, cacao, ecstatic dance, rage + grief practices, herbal guidance, and a community of people who aren’t here to bypass anything.
Early Bird: $1450 USD — Ends February 28th ∙ 1:1 prep call ∙ Full intake form ∙ Retreat integration support

We talk about:
🔥 personal and collective rage
🔥 current events + global grief
🔥 sacred rage vs. righteous rage
🔥 repression, dissociation, and burnout
🔥 practical ways to move rage through the body
🔥 rituals, practices, and nervous-system care
Rage isn’t the problem.
Unmetabolized rage is.
If you’ve been feeling activated, overwhelmed, numb, or afraid of your own fire — this conversation is for you.
Let it move. Let it teach. Let it transform.
