Unpopular Opinion! I know, so crazy right?! I only Root tap or blend maybe 5-10% of my clientele when NECESSARY.
I don’t rely on them for my blend.
What do I do instead? Focus on my placement, technique, and saturation.
The amount of people that end up needing color correction because of hairdressers, always relying on root blends is kinda crazy and so unnecessary most times.
Not to mention the long term damage it causes to the hair when you have to lift the dark blend in the future again.

Most Clients don’t know what it takes to get an intentional V shape haircut. Layers with shorter Faceframe will always create a natural U shape when the hair is all pushed back but I teach how to keep length in the front while still adding Faceframe and making sure all the layers are beautifully blended.
